Applicants must possess either a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university with at least 4 years of relevant work experience, or a Master of Science degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Professional licensure is desirable; non-licensed applicants must be able to sit for the PE exam within one year. Experience with steel, concrete, masonry and/or timber design is a must. Other experience, such as surveying, quantity take-offs, and civil engineering design is desirable, but not required.
