Spokane OfficeView Project
This project was led by 3E Design, who brought TD&H on their team to design the sidewalk and develop a drainage plan for the renovation of this branch of the Sterling Savings Bank in downtown Spokane. TD&H provided design services for the curb, gutter and sidewalk, along with a street drainage plan. The engineers at TD&H also provided liaison services for the client with the engineering staff at the City of Spokane.
The expansion included the lobby and a new addition providing for classrooms, studio and offices to locate all the music classes in one building. This expansion and renovation greatly improves and creates a more functional and efficient building. TD&H Engineering was a subconsultant to Integrus Architecture (Spokane, WA) and provided the topographic surveying and civil engineering design services.
TD&H Engineering designed the parking structure, retaining walls, Centennial Trail undercrossing structure, site layout, access roads, site drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer for the development of a mixed-use residential Planned Unit Development located on the south bank of the Spokane River.
Thomas, Dean & Hoskins, Inc. (TD&H) evaluated the condition and serviceability of the headgates and associated hoist system and determine the feasibility of rehabilitation or the need for replacement.View Project
TD&H was retained by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to provide construction oversight and inspection for a new fish ladder on the Tucannon River. The purpose of the new ladder was to improve adult and juvenile wild salmonid migration passage and fish monitoring.
The Town of Ione’s water source wells contain significant amounts of iron and manganese that, over a period of time, has accumulated in the lesser velocity piping throughout the town. Over time, this sediment caused the steel piping to corrode and rupture. The water distribution system has been replaced under separate contracts.View Project
Overlooking one of Northern Idaho’s most beautiful lakes and set on top of a very steep hillside site this beautiful five-story residence with driveways on the upper and lower ends, an elevator, large open windows and large cantilevered decks. TD&H performed both structural and civil design for this structure which involved multiple steel beams, steel frames, retaining walls, and site specific design. This project was designed by Don Henrichs with Design Alliance.
Design, survey, construction management and construction staking of citywide water systems improvements including the installation of two new wells situated to allow them to draw on a different aquifer than the city’s current wells, a new pump house, new transmission mains to link the new wells to the city’s existing storage tanks, installation of new service loops, larger distribution mains, and replacement of services.View Project
Great Falls Office
The Blackfeet Tribe created the Blackfeet Community Water Project to provide safe potable water to the communities of East Glacier and Browning. This plant went online in 2011 and is one of the first membrane filter plants within Montana.View Project
TD&H Engineering applied to the Montana Quality Schools program on behalf of Whitehall High School District. The project was awarded a planning grant for a Preliminary Engineering Report and a construction grant for the full cost of replacing their aged and failing roof.View Project

Belgrade has experienced rapid growth resulting in a heavily overloaded water system. The addition of 112 acres of land being annexed in SID 78 on the south side of the interstate and two large subdivisions on the east side of town required the construction of a new 500,000 gallon water tank.View Project
