TD&H Engineering provided services related to the modification of the existing 115 kV transformer housing so that transformers could be removed through the walls common to each building. The buildings are of steel-stud construction. The design involved new removable door panels and modification to the walls.
TD&H Engineering also provided the design of a new floor to support the load of new reactors and switchgear. The new floor is approximately eight feet above the existing 115 kV floor to the north of the transformer compartments. Services included analysis of the existing floor to ensure it would support the new loads.
