Project Description

The new Browning High School is a 130,000 square foot CMU and steel stud frame building constructed for 750 students in Browning, Montana. TD&H Engineering was the principal consultant during the conceptual stage through design, bidding, and construction. TD&H Engineering performed the geotechnical investigation and topographic survey of the entire 310-acre site, structural design for the foundation and unique wall system, designed the water and sewer system which tied into the City’s systems, created on-site storm water detention, and completed design of the access roads and parking. Included in the site design was a turn lane on Montana Highway 89 with a new approach to the high school.  During construction, TD&H Engineering provided construction administration and inspection oversight including shop drawing review, periodic site inspections, change order creation, pay request review, answering RFI’s and final inspections.
