TD&H Engineering was retained by the Washington Department of Parks and Recreation to provide construction administration and inspection for the rehabilitation of an existing, former railroad bridge. Services included contractor progress meetings, review/approval of payment requests, evaluation of change orders, material certification, and material testing for compliance. This bridge is located near Easton, WA on the John Wayne Pioneer Trail and is a part of the Iron Horse State Park system.
The upgrades to this structure were necessary to provide safe passage for pedestrians, cyclists, and local vehicle traffic. Upgrades included concrete decking and guard/safety railings.
