Project Description

The MSU Chemistry Research Building is a state of the art research facility including multiple laboratories. TD&H Engineering provided structural design, drafting, and construction administration for this 5-level, 66,500 SF building. The structural system involved a concrete beam and column moment frame with a concrete pan-joist floor system and 5-level glass walls at entry with exposed steel frame. TD&H Engineering incorporated unique design considerations and technical requirements for the research equipment and instruments.
