Client Name: Montana Department of Transportation
Construction Costs: $8.6 million

This project involved widening 1.4 miles of existing arterial street to four lanes with dedicated left turn lanes, bike lanes, and sidewalks. TD&H provided survey, geotechnical investigation, road, storm drain, signing, and striping design, and preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates. We also prepared right of way plans and deed exhibits. Marvin & Associates provided signal and lighting design. Design was done using MicroStation and GEOPAK.
TD&H integrated an intersection reconstruction project at College St. and a MDT-designed signal project at Koch St., plus anticipated requirements for a CTEP bike/ped path on College. Coordination with multiple irrigation companies facilitated relocation of the extensive irrigation presence in the project corridor.
