This project involves widening 1.4 miles of existing arterial street to four lanes with dedicated left turn lanes, bike lanes, and sidewalks. TD&H has provided survey, geotechnical investigation, road, storm drain, signing, and striping design, and preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates. We also prepared right of way plans and deed exhibits. Marvin & Associates provided signal and lighting design. Design was done using MicroStation and GEOPAK.
TD&H integrated an intersection reconstruction project at College St. and a MDT-designed signal project at Koch St., plus anticipated requirements for an upcoming CTEP bike/ped path on College. Coordination with multiple irrigation companies facilitated relocation of the extensive irrigation presence in the project corridor.
