Montana Specialty Mills is a new agri-processing plant in the AgriTech Industrial Park in Great Falls, MT. The project includes a 24,000 sq. ft. building, large storage bins, truck and rail delivery systems, access roads, stormwater collection and retention systems, fire protection, wastewater treatment, communications, natural gas, electricity, and connections to public infrastructure.
TD&H provided start to finish planning, design criteria specifications, and construction services. Due to owner directed construction drawing design changes and expansive soil concerns, structural design was particularly challenging for both the building foundations and extensive processing equipment supports. GPD completed the design of power supply and communications systems, building and site electrical distribution, outdoor lighting, plumbing design, HVAC design, agri-products process design, and equipment control systems design.
