Idaho County Airport Pavement Rehabilitation & AWOS

A previous airport planning project completed for the Idaho County Airport identified the Runway project as the highest priority and this project is the result of an alternative analysis on the recommendation of the planning study. TD&H completed the design that includes shifting the existing runway alignment 40’ to the north and 100’ east to accommodate FAA runway/taxiway separation standards and eliminate a current displaced threshold. The new runway is the same width and length as the existing runway. This project includes runway safety area grading, Medium Intensity Runway Lighting (MIRL) system installation, lighted wind cone, REIL relocation, and planning for future NAVAID installation.
