Nay Ye (Sonny) Oo

Sonny joined TD&H in September 2019 in the Media, Pennsylvania office. He graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in structural engineering from Drexel University in 2019. Sonny has engineered over 3 precast concrete project ranging from multistory building structures to storage warehouses. Sonny has facilitated project form the early design phase through construction by completing gravity and lateral calculations and drafting erection and fabrication drawings. Design calculations include lateral and gravity analysis and connection design for precast and prestressed solid wall panels, sandwich panels and columns. Sonny is experienced in utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla Structures for drafting erection and fabrication drawings. In addition to precast concrete, Sonny has engineered both new and retrofit commercial and residential structures using most commonly used building materials such as timber, masonry, concrete and steel.
