The new eight-story office building is a cast-in-place concrete structure with elevated slabs that support the exterior precast concrete architectural cladding panels. The 987 cladding panels are 6″ solid concrete and have complex geometries, featuring panel returns, architectural and structural concrete corbels, concrete soffits, and reveals.
This project won the 2023 APA (Architectural Precast Association) Award for Excellence: for Design and Manufacturing.
TD&H Engineering designed the cladding panels along with their connections to the supporting concrete structure and assisted the contractor during construction with any field questions.
