Kyle Palagi, a professional engineer at TD&H Engineering in Great Falls, received his Structural Engineer license.
“Kyle has been a great addition to our structural group,” said Wade DeBoo, regional manager. Structural Department Manager Rodney Blake, added, “We are proud that he is part of our organization and realize the SE license will allow him to excel in a way that yields many satisfied clients.”
Palagi has been with TD&H for nearly two years in the structural department. He has focused his work on structural engineering and his experience includes commercial buildings, seismic retrofits, educational facilities, worship facilities and industrial structures. He takes a practical approach to design, while implementing creative solutions to help TD&H’s clients bring their vision to reality. He took the structural engineering license exam in October 2016. He previously had passed his professional engineering (PE) exam in October 2014.
The structural engineering (SE) exam is a 16-hour test that assesses an engineer’s understanding of complex structural engineering concepts that will be required for the proper design of structures for all loads including seismic and wind loading. SE licensure is required in some jurisdictions for complex conditions and ensures the highest level of qualification and competence among structural engineers.
