Lewiston Office Helps Local Families

The staff of TD&H-Lewiston and Northwest Media are making the holiday season a little bit brighter for three Lewis-Clark Valley families this year.

The Lewiston offices adopted three local families through the YWCA, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families in escaping to lives free from violence, poverty and oppression. The local YWCA also happens to be our next-door neighbor in Lewiston, and that made them the perfect choice to partner with.

The three families all live in transitional housing, which is short-term housing the YWCA provides people as they move toward a more stable home.  All three families consisted of mothers and their children, ages 1-16. The Lewiston staff all jumped in, providing everything from toys and games to clothing, kitchenware and even a TD&H coffee mug!

It really was the perfect way to prep for the holidays: Lots of shopping, gift wrapping, and helping those in need.
