Project Spotlight: Fairview Village Church Addition

Location: Worcester Township, PA

The new single-story classroom addition (17,000 SF) was comprised of wood-framed construction with wood shear walls. A steel moment frame was constructed at the large window opening to support a new aluminum cross on the exterior. An existing exterior courtyard (3,300 SF) was infilled with a standalone steel-framed structure and shallow spread footings. All work was performed while the remaining building was in use. We provided structural design, construction documents, and construction administration support.
