Project Spotlight: I-90 Quartz Flats Rest Area CE&I

Client: Montana Department of Transportation

TD&H provided construction engineering and inspection (CE&I) services as well as contract administration for the Quartz Flats rest area. Using consultant services with a design/build project is new to MDT, requiring flexibility and adaptability from our team. TD&H provided a construction inspector and various supplemental staff for materials acceptance testing, support services and Q/A reviews of structural, geotechnical, water, wastewater, and survey. In addition to hiring an independent architect to perform periodic reviews, TD&H coordinated with MDT staff to provide seamless cost effective and efficient services for a successful project.
