Project Spotlight: Montessori School

Location: Richland, WA

We provided structural engineering for the construction of a 5,665 SF one-story wood framed structure with a full crawl space. The structure utilized prefabricated wood roof trusses bearing on exterior/interior wood stud walls and wood floor joists bearing on wood pony walls or the perimeter concrete foundation stem wall. The roof structure has several different diaphragm elevations along with several exterior steel canopies over windows and doors. The lateral system consists of wood sheathed shear walls.
