TD&H worked with SMA Architects to design a new, state-of-the-art headquarters for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana. The design included a new 93,000 sq. ft. employee facility that features corporate offices, gathering spaces, and other amenities. TD&H’s scope included landscape architecture including planting and irrigation design, exterior grounds improvements, and construction administration services. The site and landscape design for the new Blue Cross Blue Shield Montana Headquarters integrates the building into the site. The design for the project included planting and turf grass areas around the building, bio-filtration swale planters in the parking lots to improve run-off stormwater quality. The project included a large area of native grasses to conserve water and a natural walking trail for employee use. This project is LEED Silver certified.
