Great Falls Public Schools (GFPS) selected the team of Cushing Terrell and TD&H from a quality-based selection to upgrade the 50-year-old CMR High School. Our team completed the planning, design, and construction management of several major campus maintenance, repair and upgrade improvements. These included construction of a 2-story 20,000 sq. ft. Multi-purpose Building that includes an athletic practice facility; a single story building addition to add 6,000 sq. ft. of STEM classroom spaces; replacement of the concrete deck surrounding the main building; replacement of a water main in tight quarters including partly with horizontal directional drilling; installation of a new primary electrical campus power supply system; replacement of the athletic field; replacement of an existing retaining wall; new surfacing and drainage for the running track; site access improvements including ADA compliance; landscaping improvements; and storm water collection, treatment, and detention facilities. This project incorporated LEED building principals but was not certified.
