TD&H adhered to a strict budget and schedule while working with Malmstrom Air Force Base on this bridge repair project. The schedule was modified to allow for government changes in scope. Because of our project management experience, adherence to these requirements was not an issue and the project was completed on time and within budget.
The project consisted of removal and replacement of an aging timber and steel structure crossing a creek approximately 15 miles NE of Lewistown, MT near Roy, MT. The bridge supports a military site along this road. TD&H’s design included all elements necessary for the demolition of the existing bridge and replacement with a new pre-stressed concrete bulb-tee bridge spanning 75’ from abutment to abutment. The design included providing geotechnical engineering services, approach design, detour road design and design survey services.
