The exterior structure of the Rubenstein Commons is composed of 60 unique, 10- to 11-in.-thick precast concrete panels. Ten of the panels are curved, and all were treated with a sandblast finish. All vertical reinforcement on the project was developed using NMB Splice Sleeves, a high-efficiency system for connecting reinforcement in concrete structures. Exterior precast concrete erection was completed over the course of one month, from March to April 2019. The project finished in 2022.
