Starbucks

This project began as a building shell project only, with steel moment frames at the storefront area and CMU shear and bearing walls elsewhere. The owner required an open space with no interior columns. Challenges arose when the tenants were brought on board and design changes needed to be made. TD&H designed long-span LH open web steel joists to create the almost 60’ span without interior columns. An additional roof tower was added, necessitating the steel moment frame at the front to be modified and two columns added.
