We are seeking a full-time Senior Civil Transportation Engineer/Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, energetic, and rewarding work environment. This opportunity is anticipated to be located in Great Falls, MT but all Montana locations (Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell, Bozeman) may be considered. Your Role:
As a Senior Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects,
leading teams, and driving engineering solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the design and execution of complex civil engineering projects
- Managing project scope, schedule, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff
- Preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
- Coordinating with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Conducting construction oversight and administration as needed
- Leading business development efforts, including proposal writing and client engagement
Project Types:
You will lead and manage a variety of projects, including:
- Transportation clients including DOT’s, Federal Highways, Forest Service, Department of Defense, Counties, Cities, Railroads, and Private.
- Roads & Highways
- Bridges & Culverts
- Intersections and Roundabouts
- Traffic Impact Studies
- Railroad
You may also have the opportunity to manager other civil projects including:
- Water Distribution and Sewer Collection Systems
- Stormwater Infrastructure
- Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems
- Subdivision Land Development
- Commercial Site Design
- Federal Government Facilities
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced leader with strong technical and project management skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of experience in civil transportation engineering
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams
- Strong client relationship management and business development experience
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work on schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience living or working in Montana is a plus
- Relocation assistance is available
What We’re Looking For: $100,000 – $130,000 annually (Excluding year-end bonus), depending on
experience, education, and qualifications.
