Your Role:
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, detailing and drafting of structures. Responsibilities include:
- Work with project managers and team to design and detail various types of structural projects.
- Review construction documents and issue RFI’s (Request for Information) for clarification of design and detailing information.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients on multiple projects ensuring timely completion.
- Prepare and organize detailed technical calculation reports.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation
- Conduct site investigations

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking motivated engineers who are passionate about structural design and problem-solving. The candidate will work under experienced project managers all holding Professional Engineer licenses. The Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated and eager to contribute to a growing team. The ideal candidate will have:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering structural focus (M.S. preferred) from an accredited university
- Engineer-in-training (EIT) license required
- 1-5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of buildings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and/or Revit/BIM. As well as structural analysis programs such as Enercalc, Risa, and Mathcad.
- Experience with wood, masonry, steel, concrete, and cold-formed metal design
- Experience with condition assessments and in-situ structural evaluations. Able to recognize load paths of existing structures and formulate retrofits/renovations
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work on schedule in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
