What You’ll Do:

As an Intern, you will contribute to a variety of projects across multiple disciplines and support project teams with tasks such as:

• Performing design calculations and technical analyses
• Drafting and designing/modeling using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Revit (or other discipline specific software)
• Preparing plans, reports, and project documentation
• Supporting construction inspections, testing, and field work
• Participate in client meetings and project discussions
• Learn about local, state and federal project requirements

Project Types:

Depending on your discipline, you may work on projects like:

• Water, Sewer and Stormwater Infrastructure
• Roads & Highways
• Subdivision and Commercial Site Development
• Federal Government facilities (e.g., U.S. Air Force projects)
• Building and Structure Design
• Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems
• Surveying Mapping, and Environmental Compliance

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for motivated future engineers who are passionate about design and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited civil engineering or related program
• Strong academic foundation and enthusiasm for learning
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
• Prior coursework or experience in your discipline is a plus

Location & Availability

Paid internship opportunities are available in ALL TD&H offices:

Paid Internships:

$20 – $25/hour, depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
