Who We Are

Rodney has structural experience with all structures including bridges, roofs, tanks, foundations, buildings, etc. He is a structural engineer licensed in the states of Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, Vermont and Idaho. He is also licensed in several Canadian provinces. He was hired by TD&H in 1999 and is the Structural Department Manager.

Bucky is a licensed electrical engineer providing design and project management for all types of projects including site power distribution, building power and lighting, IT infrastructure, and security/alarm systems. His expertise consists of medical and laboratory projects as well as industrial projects, data centers/ communications facilities, higher education campus infrastructure projects and central plants with more complex systems that benefit from his years of experience. Bucky is competent in all phases of project design and management including feasibility studies, cost estimation, construction administration, and inspection. He is a LEED AP, NCEES Certified, a licensed PE in multiple states and a member of ACEC, NFPA, IAEI and IES.

Brady is a transportation engineer experienced in project management, analysis, and design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, roadway, and right-of-way. He has worked on public and private projects throughout Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Brady has comprehensive bridge experience with new bridge design, bridge widening, bridge replacement, bridge preservation, bridge feasibility studies, load ratings, gravity and seismic design, QC review, PS&E, and construction services. He is proficient with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges, and State DOT Bridge Manuals.

Craig Nadeau is the lead geotechnical engineer for TD&H Engineering working out of our Great Falls, Montana office. Craig is licensed and manages geotechnical projects throughout Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, and Washington. Craig has been with TD&H Engineering since 2005 with work experience primarily in geotechnical engineering, geotechnical special inspections, and construction materials testing (CMT). Craig is experienced in managing a variety of large and small geotechnical and construction phase projects ranging from small residential and commercial structures to large industrial developments and municipal systems. Craig is experienced all phases of geotechnical evaluation ranging from the development of the initial site investigation plan and proposal through completion of the final geotechnical analysis and report and into construction phase services. Craig has specific experience in the analysis and evaluation of difficult subsurface soil conditions including expansive, collapsible, and liquefiable soils as well as several remediation and specialized foundations systems and alternatives to mitigate these risks.

Dave is a licensed mechanical engineer with design and project management experience in hospital additions, office buildings, shops, laboratories, central heating systems, and boiler and chiller plants.  Areas of specialization include district steam and hot water heating and distribution systems, critical environments such as industrial and institutional systems, museums, and laboratories.  In addition to his design experience, Dave has served on the NIH’s National/Regional Biological Containment Laboratory Site Selection Committee and served on the Montana Building Codes Council for 8 years. Dave is competent in all phases of project design and management including feasibility studies, cost estimation, construction administration, and inspection. He is licensed in several states, NCEES Certified, and a member of ASHRAE, ASME, and the International Code Council.

James is a licensed mechanical engineer in Montana with design and project management experience in military operational and support facilities, hangars, indoor aquatics centers, laboratories, healthcare and medical office, data centers, educational/schools, and State facilities.   James holds a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Penn State, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University, and is a former active-duty Air Force Civil Engineering Officer and U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology faculty member.  James’ areas of specialization include muti-disciplinary project management, combined heat and power systems (CHP), central heating, cooling and distribution systems, life-cycle based energy analysis, and building heating and cooling loads modeling.   He is a member of ASHRAE.

Jana is a Professional Landscape Architect with over a decade of experience in planning, landscape architecture and design. She has contributed to the design, production and management of the planning and landscape architecture department since joining TD&H. Ms. Cooper has managed a wide range of projects through all stages of development. She has worked on many public and private projects and has strong skills related to comprehensive planning, land development and high level design. Jana Cooper has worked on projects from Montana to Arizona as well as internationally including projects in Australia, London, China and the Middle East.

John’s career has spanned a broad range of civil engineering disciplines and activities, he has extensive experience is all phases of engineering project execution including project development, engineering studies, design and construction management. In 32 years of engineering, John has planned, designed and managed the construction of roadways, water systems, sanitary and storm sewers, water and sewer treatment systems, and many other facilities.

Nate is the Civil Department Manager/Civil Engineer with design and field experience in hydraulics, hydrology, water, wastewater, site development, soils, and transportation design.  Nate’s experience includes modeling, preparation of plans and contract documents, preparation of design reports, surveying, field investigations, and construction administration. He is proficient in several design and modeling software, which include AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA), MicroStation, HY-8, FishXing and multiple other software.

Nathan is a licensed electrical engineer in the State of Montana. Nathan’s responsibilities include engineering design of electrical systems from schematics through construction.  His design experience focuses on commercial building design, including laboratory, healthcare, government, and industrial facilities with diverse capabilities in lighting/controls, power, and low voltage system design. Systems designed include interior and exterior lighting, power and distribution, data and communications, alarm and detection, emergency power, access controls, and nurse call.  Nathan is competent in all phases of project design, including detailed interdisciplinary project coordination, management, and Building Information Modeling.
